Free Concert- Bummers, Water Witches, The Salty Caramels
Thursday, August 17, 5:30pm - 10:00pm

On Thursday, August 17, CDDC and Columbus Commons present a night of FREE MUSIC featuring three incredible local bands, great food trucks and a cash bar!

The Salty Caramels
In their 5th year as a group, these creative women have grown together - both personally and musically. Their show is nostalgic and fun with a mix of unique instrumentation such as ukulele, musical saw, and glockenspiel, as well as buttery three-part harmonies. The Salties have an old-school vibe with their catchy indie and pop rock tunes. The debut of their new album "Baby Blue" represents the sprouting of their Columbus roots into a sultry and endearing sound that is all their own.

Water Witches
Water Witches are a rock and roll curiosity from Athens, Ohio. Their blend of mystically charged folk and gritty psychedelic rock has an unusual way of engaging with audiences.

This retro beach rockin’, indie crooning 4-piece is a supersonic sound of psychedelic force and intoxication. The blend of vivid, buzzing vocals and intoxicating melodies makes for a musical cocktail that taunts your body into letting loose. Whether you stumble upon them by accident or you have been a Bummer since day one, these guys have a sound that will find your ears sooner or later.

Don't miss out on this night of free music to start off your weekend right!

Get here early, the cash bar and food trucks open at 5:30pm! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, please leave coolers at home. Convenient parking is available at 55 E. Rich St. Music starts at 6pm.

Food trucks include MaanasBarroluco Argentine Comfort FoodAloha Streatery, and Aromaku.
